My favorite bootsApr 05, 2008
By Jackie Alphonse When you first take them out of the box and strap them on, you're going to feel like you broke both legs and have been condemned to leg braces. A bit of warning: they're heavy. I think the shipping label said they weighed 8 pounds together. Haha. It's a great thing. Also, you're going to notice that they squeak a lot. Now how could I possibly still like these boots you ask?
Once you start wearing them, all of the problems start to disappear. Because they are almost completely leather they take a bit of time to wear in. The squeaking is pretty much gone now, and they've gotten more comfortable on the legs because I've been wearing them a lot. They're very adjustable because of all of the straps, so really it's all just a matter of adjusting them properly (they will always be stiff though, given the metal plates, steel toes, and what, 7 buckles?). Another thing, someone else commented that they are purely for show---well, actually---I have worn them hiking and even in the snow and haven't had a problem; they aren't even scratched yet. They seem pretty durable given that they're usually listed as fetish boots.
The only real complaint that I have is that the backs are a bit too tall for me, which makes it annoying while running (they probably didn't intend them for running...). But I think that might have to do with the fact that 1. I'm a woman, not a man (some sites list these boots as unisex, but they are actually made to fit men, not women). 2. I wear size 10 in men's even though I'm not that tall. Given proportions and everything, it's to be expected.
Over all, nice boots. They have their quirks, but are too cool to be branded with a mediocre 4 stars, so they get a 5.

Great boots, they are exactly as depicted in the picture. They also have a steel toe (for structural support only), and a zip-up side. So if you like what you see in the picture, then these boots are a great buy.

I love them!!!Mar 06, 2011
By Jose Concepcion Compared to the previous boots I had from Demonia, this one appears stronger, durable, well built & more stylish. My only problem is that the boots nearly reaches my knee caps. Other than that, I love them. I feel dominant, edgier, darker.
I would suggest only wearing these when it's not snowing or raining. You don't wanna ruin these boots, they should be treated with care and to show off. Nothing else. My advice...wear it on special occasions.
These boots are made to make you bad ass.

broken already!Jan 06, 2011
By Mohawk Mike These boots are made in china, the construction is cheap, the leather doesn't look or feel real.
My zipper broke on the second time I went to put them on and the boots weren't even strapped on tightly
these things look ultra rugged but the stitching is cheap the materials are cheap the zippers are garbage. the only thing that isn't cheap on these boots is the retail price.
