These socks are warm and fabulous, but kind of slippery in my shoes so they wore thin in the heels really quickly. I live in NYC--do LOTS of walking. So socks and shoes wear out quickly. But these wore out more quickly than most of my socks, which is disappointing because they feel like butter.

these are fantastic socks. warm, soft and cuddly without being too hot! They are 80% cashmere and 20% nylon, and they are just wonderful! And the cranberry color is to die for!
Edited to add:
These make great airplane socks... My feet always get cold on planes and these are great to stash in my carry on!

I purchased three pair of the cashmere socks and they are certainly soft and warm. Only negative is that they have a loose fit and so tend to move on the foot in boots or loafers and bunch a bit. They are best worn in shoes that can be laced. Because they are soft they don't rub enough to cause blisters.
