5Fabulous!Nov 17, 2010
By J. Abbott "[lollirotti]"
I received my shoes and they look even better in person than they did online. They fit snug, but comfortable; like I expected from Demonia. I would not suggest them for those with wide feet. I ordered the red stitching option, which came with a set of red laces as well as the black laces pictured. First opportunity I have, these will be paired with my red wool military coat. *glee* I'm very happy with my purchase.

it's super cute and lovely! It looks so good looking!
But don't wear it for long walk, or you will feel like you are dying...

5Even better than the pic-May 20, 2009
By D. Northern
I got the black with red stitching (Note: The stitching is BRIGHT red not burgundy) & they even included both black & red laces. The shoe is comfortable... the laces are a bit of work, but really set the look. I'm very pleased with the quality of these shoes.

4Fun, but sedentaryAug 01, 2011

Like others have mentioned, you will definitely need padding for extensive use (I wore these to a Con two days in a row, and I couldn't do it the third day, which is a shame because by then I had a new matching outfit). I'd recommend keeping the stuffing paper for the toe and using either cloth or only the HIGHEST grade of industrial insole to line the bottom, to keep it as taught as possible. They are very cute but best used for say, a house party, not something really designed for walking around town (to my regret).

The laces need a little bit of monitoring, but they're actually far more comfortable than they look. The only problem is (or maybe the cause of) is that the shoe's "center of gravity" is about an inch from your ankle, hence my recommendation for keeping the shoe as taught as possible on your foot.

Finally, I don't know if maybe mine were mis-labeled, but I bought mine used about a half size under my normal, but they ended up about a half size too big (the printed shoe size was accurate as advertised), so I'm not sure if there's a Nike effect with this company, but it certainly didn't help the looseness.

3super fun, not super comfortableSep 23, 2010

Definitely not the most comfortable shoes ever made. They are great fun over a short period of sedentary time. Lots of walking would be painful. I'd recommend little footie nylons, since they don't breathe.
